» BillingWho should I contact if I have questions about my bill at Syringa Hospital & Clinics?Questions about your Syringa Hospital & Clinics bill should be directed to our Patient Financial Services office, at 208-983-8556.Who will mail my insurance claim? When?One way we help our patients is by filing your insurance claim. This means the hospital mails your hospital bill and insurance forms to your insurance company. This should be done within 10 days after you are sent home. You will need to make sure your insurance company gets the claim and pays their part of it, although patient Financial Services billing agents make every effort to enable the insurance company to procees your claims in a timely and accurate manner. If you do not agree with how your insurance processed, then you are responsible for contacting your insurance company. You are responsible for making sure your bill is paid. When will I get a bill from the hospital?You should be sent a statement within 10 days after you leave the hospital. This shows how much your hospital bill is and that your insurance claim has been filed. Later, you will be sent a bill for any amount you may owe after your insurance pays their part.Why are there charges for medicine I am taking home on my bill?If you have prescriptions for medicine to be taken once you get home and they are filled by Syringa's Pharmacy, the cost is added to your hospital bill. Medicines to be taken at home are not paid for by your insurance.I was sent two different bills. Why?If you are seen at either of the Syringa Primary Care Clinics or the Walk-in Clinic, you will be sent two different bills. The bill for lab work will be sent by Syringa Hospital and/or Pathologists Regional Lab. We accept contracted rates with commercial insurances that are enrolled with the First Choice Health Plan network. All insurances are accepted and processed per the patient’s contract benefits.
