Dr. Petersen specializes in rural family medicine with a focus on improving lifespan and healthspan. In addition to working in the clinic providing primary care, he covers the emergency department, acute illness, chronic disease, endoscopy, pediatrics, and obstetrics which includes cesarean section and trial of labor after cesarean section.Dr. Petersen studied medicine at the University of Washington School of Medicine, completing his residency through Idaho State University's Family Medicine Residency.
